I also added a bunch of new photographs to my website + a whole ton of new work and pretty much a general update to the entire site. This role of film took a lot longer than anticipated mainly because I fell into a hole but w.e I'm climbing out of it. Currently, since I ran out of film, I have been shooting with Fuji -- the last roll of film that I shot were all still portra though. Also I am planning on actually shooting with the diana this year unlike last summer where my disease kept me from fulfilling my actual goal. check everything out at monamiejorge.com :D

So yeah I am curating another album! This is digital only and it is supposed to be released June 11. I went  in wanting to make this an album with all these fun songs but of course it always turns into another direction. I was walking down Dundee with Coco and Chocoroll and I was by Idols (or what was left of it) and then Screamin' Rachael's "Extacy" came on my iPod (the black one) and I was like "oh shit" and the idea of making this compilation came into my head. I was also somewhat inspired by Nicki Minaj's "Starships". I would post the entire track list but I don't ever know when something may happen with a track while being mastered... so we'll see! LOL

Apparently I forgot and have been way too distracted with myself to post the stream of the North American version of this single. Kinda funny that I got to work with Little Boots and team on this single. I would hear her remix of some song I got from some website on my iPod randomly when I picked my dad up from work a couple years ago. Sometimes you go like "oh never in a million years would these things happen" but they do, even if the thought of it never ever crossed your mind (like when people find themselves giving head). I asked people like Joe Smooth, D-Man, Nic Sarno and Screamin' Rachael to all add their flavor on the remixes so listen below, sorry world for not being able to buy it!

Okay so per usual I listen to an album for like forever to still try to make mind up about it. Apparently I was skeptical about MDNA mainly I think now looking back because of the LMFAO appearance on it. And because I felt like they were being used to somehow sell the album, etc. Luckily it is nothing LMFAO-like (not knocking on them just not my own taste). But also there were, I think this is the standard I guess in many 'pop' albums, many tracks made of fromage -- that stanky foot cheese that crumbles (Masterpiece). But where it succeeds, like usual, Madonna turns it out. But also I was kinda like "omg" about loving the songs that I loved because in someways I felt like some cult follower that felt that somehow I was making myself like some songs just to say I liked more songs off the album than I did, I think (I'm A Sinner). But there were those undeniable amazing tracks that I thought "fawkk" Madonna either knows what she is doing or this was lucky (Addicted To Your Love, on repeat x 8). Again, maybe because I am musically inclined to dance music (I dnk not really... also dance music is a term that old people use when they don't feel like calling music techno :p) I kinda went like yay another dance album from Madonna... and let's all be honest Confessions was like a revelation when it came out. So MDNA, great when it's great and cheese towards the end.... also if I had recently been divorced this would probably be my life anthem.
